Privacy
Candidate privacy notice.
How Caldrion uses the information you give us when you apply, create an account or sign up for job alerts on this site.
Who we are
Caldrion LLC is responsible for (the controller of) the personal information you share on this careers site. Our address is Caldrion LLC, 667 Madison Avenue, Floor 20, New York, NY 10065, United States. For anything about this notice or your information, email support@caldrion.com.
This notice covers applying for roles and using this site. Our full privacy policy covers everything else.
What we collect
- What you tell us when you apply: your name, email address, phone number and where you’re based; your résumé and any links you share (such as a professional profile or portfolio); your work authorization; the role or track and teams you’re interested in; your cover letter and your answers to the role’s questions; when you could start.
- Adjustments you ask for: if you tell us about an adjustment or accommodation you need, only the recruiting team sees it, and we use it only to make the process work for you.
- Your application’s progress: the stages it moves through, interviews, messages between you and the team, the team’s notes and assessments, and any offer.
- Technical information: a one-way, scrambled form of your network address, used only to stop abuse (such as limiting how often a form can be sent). We don’t store your network address itself.
How we use it
We use your information to consider you for the role or track you applied for, to contact you about your application, to arrange interviews and, if it comes to it, to make you an offer. If you agree when you apply, we may also consider you for other roles at Caldrion. We send you emails about your application and give you a private link to follow it.
Candidate accounts
An account is optional. If you create one, we keep your name, email address and phone number, and, if you choose to save them, your profile, your résumé, saved jobs, unfinished applications and job alerts, so you can follow every application in one place. You sign in with a single-use link we email you; there is no password. Unfinished applications you haven’t changed for 90 days are deleted. You can download your information and delete your account at any time from your account; deleting it removes the account and what it holds, while your applications stay with the recruiting team as described below.
Job alerts
If you sign up for job alerts by email, we keep your email address and the search you saved (such as a team or a location) so we can email you when new roles match it. Nothing is sent until you confirm your address from the email we send you, and requests that are never confirmed are deleted after 7 days. Every alert email has a link to change how often you hear from us or to delete the alert; deleting it deletes your address with it.
Where you came from
When you reach a job through a link that carries campaign tags (for example from a job board, social media or one of our emails), or from another website, we record those tags or that website’s name with your application, so we know which ways of reaching candidates work. This uses the link itself, not cookies.
Recruitment agencies
If a recruitment agency puts you forward, the agency gives us the information described above, and we record which agency submitted you. Agencies must have your agreement to represent you for that role. If you are already in our process for that role, we don’t create a second application.
Voluntary self-identification
Where the law allows it, after you apply we may invite you to tell us about your gender, race and ethnicity, veteran status or disability. Answering is voluntary, and declining has no effect on your application. Your answers are kept separately from your application, are never shown to the people assessing you, and are used only in aggregate reports.
Who sees your information
The people involved in hiring for the role (the recruiting team, the hiring manager and interviewers) see your application. Service providers who run this site for us, host it and send its emails process your information on our behalf and under our instructions. We may disclose it where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep an application while it is being considered. Once it has closed, we keep it for 24 months and then delete it, including your résumé and documents. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw an application, or ask us to delete it, at any time from its private link or from your account. A deletion request withdraws the application at once, and the recruiting team then deletes it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to how we use it. To ask, email support@caldrion.com.
